ICT Main Stage in Irving is one ballsy theater group. Having tackled Arthur Miller and Gilbert & Sullivan last season, they kick off the New Year with John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men. Due to the subject matter of this classic play, I can’t call it a crowd-pleaser, but Director Charles Ballinger has assembled an exhausting and unyielding production that leaves the audience speechless and/or in tears. "Of Mice and Men" Volunteer Opportunity - Strike

Saturday, January 30th Strike! After the show (around 10:30 pm) until completed at the Dupree Theatre

All Hands On Deck for Strike! Saturday night, January 30th, is the final performance of "Of Mice and Men". And right after the show we will be "striking" the set. This is when we take down the set and get things ready for our next show. Bring tools, or just show up to help. Any time you can spend helping will be appreciated.

John Steinbeck’s classic tale of friendship follows two migrant workers in California during the Great Depression. George Milton looks after his mentally-disabled friend, Lennie Small, as they travel looking for work. The two men hope to one day settle down on their own piece of land, but their plans of living the American Dream prove difficult to achieve.

ICT Honored with 12 Column Awards and 38 Nominations for 2008!

ICT is Honored with 5 Column Awards and 37 NominationsICT MainStage won 12 awards at the 10th Annual Column Awards.  This was the most by any Non-Equity theater. Only Uptown Players, an Equity Theater, took more with 14.

Congratulations to all the ICT Winners and Nominees for the 2008 Column Awards! The Column Theatre Awards, now in its tenth year, honors excellence in the theatre arts within the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and surrounding counties. ICT has been honored by receiving 12 Column Awards and 38 Nominations! See the full list here.

THE COLUMN AWARDS will be held on Monday, March 23rd, 2009 at the Iring Arts Center in the Carpenter Theatre.
