Now on stage at ICT
Now Playing!! ICT MainStage Presents "The Last Night of Ballyhoo"
by Alfred Uhry
Directed by Bruce Coleman
May 17 - June 1, 2013
at the Dupree Theater
Romantic comedy drama
From the author of “Driving Miss Daisy”comes the story of the Freitag family, owner of the Dixie Bedding Company, Atlanta, December, 1939. Gone with the Wind is about to premiere, and Hitler is invading Poland, but the only important event for local Jews is the debutante ball, Ballyhoo. Snobbery, prejudice, and misunderstanding pull the family apart as the social event of the year approaches. Some soul searching and revelations mend them back together in this romantic comedy.
