With maybe the most awful title ever in musical theater history, this funny, innovative, big-hearted musical will leave you cheering and humming the tunes. In an attempt to regulate water consumption, Urinetown (a mythical, bad place) has outlawed the use of private toilets. The citizenry must use public, pay-per-use amenities owned and operated by Urine Good Company, a heartless corporation run by the corrupt Caldwell B. Cladwell. It includes the songs: Run, Freedom, Run and Follow Your Heart. Nominated for 10 Tony awards; winning Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Musical Score, and Best Direction of a Musical. “When You’re In Town…See Urinetown!”

ICTN Spotlights Urinetown: The Musical
Reviews
"URINETOWN probably suffers somewhat from a joke the characters actually make, which is the title and subject matter might keep people away. But it shouldn't . The show is a rare treat of the modern theater. It's an excellent story with excellent songs that doesn't take itself too seriously. And that makes it arguably the most engrossing kind of show to take in."

"..ICT still impresses with a challenging musical."
-- Mark Lowry, DFW.com
"I was so into the performance that I forgot for a moment why I was there. I was impressed that not only does ICT MainStage execute the advanced score, but they also create a unique take on Urinetown. Foresca's choreography is exciting to watch. The steam-punk concept makes for a dark, surreal theme, while the top-notch performers leave songs in your head."
